We want to know what is in our bottles – therefore, we exclusively process and distribute wine from our own estate and cellar. Since 1780 our winery has been family-owned and we have managed our own estate vineyard of 14 ha at the best officially classified site. As a member of the VDP we set exceptionally high standards for our products. Our aspiration for the best possible quality has been honoured with the highest accolades in international competitions and journals.
We meet our own demands when we work out the character of the vintages and the individual sites. Analytically, wines often appear almost identical, but sensorially they differ greatly. For us, quality is also reflected in the ageing potential of our wines. We are proud when we can offer a large vintage vertical and ifwe have wines in our treasure chamber for special occasions.
